My experiments with quilling and an award

Recently the quilling bug bit me too !! I love to learn new techniques and quilling was on the list since a long time. But I never dared to experiment it as I felt it needs too much time to work on. Recently I came across Dr.Pritesh's amazing work and desperately wanted to try this art form.

Spray Painted Formula Tins

Of Late I have been trying to recycle household stuff for my Crafts and this is one such experiment.

I spray painted a Formula Tin.

The result was satisfactory. I sent this craft as an entry to the "August Made It Myself" contest conducted by A Hundred hands and received a notable mention on their FB Page...

For the First time I am participating in Craft Challenges and I am Sending this as an entry to the following :

CraftyJC Challenge

Hope u liked it ...

Wedding Anniversary Card

I made this card for my Parents' Wedding Anniversary last year. I was 34 weeks pregnant and was on total bed rest... I was getting really bored that afternoon and decided to look for the things at home that I can recycle...and this is the final outcome....

1. The actual card is an old envelop made out of hand made paper
2. The flowers were scraps cut out of magazines
3. Frame made out of cereal packaging
4. Frame Border was cut with a craft scissors

Hope you liked this post.

Cheers,
Swathi
