Baby Boy Scrap Book -1

Hello All,

Today am going to share some pics of the Baby Boy scrap book that I am making for a friend.

Before I go ahead and say a single word about my album, I have to give due credit to two people Priya Venkat and Juhi Khanna . They make some excellent albums. My work is no way close to what they create but I am happy with what it turned out to be.

This album has two pages for each month, one for a photograph and the other for journaling. For some pages I have even given an option for hidden journaling.

My First Altered Canvas

I am experimenting with a lot of new techniques these days and one of them is Mixed Media Art. I have tried different methods ,sketches and material. Today am going to share my first altered canvas with you all.

{Scrapbook} First Photo Shoot

Hi All,

I made this layout to feature Kaustubh's first Photo shoot !!! After creating two average layouts...this one really seemed to please me.......a little bit of recycling also goes in... made use of some old gift wrapping paper to create a pattern....

This is how it looks....

I decided to follow some sketches from now onwards...In this way I will get to learn about different techniques.... I have strictly adhered to the following sketch from 52 sketches 52 weeks.....

1.Art paper : Canson Colorline Green and Buttercup

2.Old Gift warp :Stash

3.Card stock stickers : Studio Calico

4.Handmade Paper :Local

5. Wooden Beads :Local

{Scrapbook} Another Quick Layout

I created this quick page yesterday !!! Hmm not satisfied with the out come... but was fun to work with....

And this is how it looks:

Supplies used:

1. Hand made paper

2. Star pattern cut out of Velvet paper

3. Zardosi used for highlighting

4. Alpha : ItsyBitsy

I need to improve in a lot of areas... color combinations, use of elements and photography :-)....

{Scrapbook} Baby's First Smile

I quickly created a layout for my first scrapbook page.

This one is to record my son's first social smile... I chose this milestone to start with as I had limited supplies in hand..... And this is how it looks.....

I still have to complete this.... major thing being the word "First" the die cuts that I have do not go with the color schema.... got to look for an alternative.... On a whole am totally satisfied with the way things are shaping up.....
