Blue Fringed Flowers

Me back again with another quilled frame.

Hello Friends,

How are you all doing??? Things have been really crazy and hectic in my part of the world...husband fell sick on Friday and ever since then... was really busy running around doctors and diagnostic centers....fortunately all tests turned out to be normal...and he is feeling much better now...

As most of you know craft is a de-stress activity for me !!And my crafting mojo will be at an all time high at times like these...

I used one such sleepless night to make these adorable fringed flowers.. I just love the way they turned out to be... love them even more coz this is my first order. I dear friend who saw my work on FB requested a custom made frame for her new home. Since she loves blue she wanted blue flowers similar to my fringed flowers posted here .. So this is what I made for her...

And now to the little bit of recycling. The base for this project is an old wedding invite.

There is a small mistake that I made in this project. I started out to use the combing techinique for the leaves... but after adding 2 leaves I felt the ordinary coil leaves would look cute and continued to add the coiled leaves...I did not remove the previous leaves as that would spoil the paper. The recipient did not mind that mistake... she was really thrilled to see the out come .The best thing she said was the larger flower looked so real that for a moment she thought that it was a dry flower !!!

So wht do you feel about this project.Do let me know wht you think... it means a lot to me.
