{Guest Post} Curious Craft

Hello All,

My Guests for the day are Ginelle and Dhvani, of Curious Craft ,two young applied arts students who turned their crafty passion into a fruitful business.

I really enjoy all the work and specially share a similar interest, crafts for kids parties, with them.

Please read more about them , in their on words :

One dull day, while in a Sculpture class, we were quite dissatisfied with what we were doing with our talent. We were more attracted to crafts because of the vast media that it offers and also the variety that it encompasses. Art, we felt, limited us in many ways. So, we decided while in college that we would make greeting cards and do take away presents for children’s birthday parties. This way we could explore different areas of creativity and make some pocket money too. The response we got was astronomical and as the months went by we realized we needed Curious Craft just as much as Bangalore needed it! That is how Curious Craft was born. It is the brain child of the two of us (Dhvani Shah and Ginelle Sequeira)

As a part of our project in college we had to do the branding of a company. By that time Curious Craft was still in it’s infancy but we saw it’s potential and decided to brand it. Ginelle did it as her college project but to us, it was way more than a project. It was a lifetime in the making!
We registered Curious Craft as a partnership in Feb 2011 and after that things have only been looking up. We have under our umbrella a few part time employees and one full timer. Life is good at curious craft!

Curious Craft now has 9 product categories and we sell from various stores across India and also on several online platforms. We also sell directly from our web store where you will usually find attractive offers!

We hope Curious Craft is an inspiration to young entrepreneurs. You can achieve all your dreams just so long as you have the patience and perseverance!

Here are some of their works :

X&O Cushion cover

Cut n tuck book marks

cut n tuc cards
